Racks is such a simple word but it is one of the most powerful words when it comes to organization. There is a wide variety that will fit into just about anyone's life. What use to be ugly unappealing racking systems for garages or closets has now developed into many home décor ideas that will help beautify the home as well as organize it. From the more industrial or utility shelf type items, there are garage shelves, usually metal shelving with little design but those shelves 500 lbs making them great for organizing your garage. They can hold heavier items like paint, tools or machinery. These shelves and racks are not only garage racks but can be utility room racks or utility room shelves. And while we are in the garage, there are many bike racks to help mount and store all of the family bikes as well as automotive bike racks and bike lifts that transport those bikes to your vacation, mountain bike trails or where ever you are taking those bikes. Bike racks allow for you to easily mount the bike to the wall of your garage, use a vertical pole to provide hooks for the bikes.
If you purchase a bakers rack with solid shelving, the upper shelves will make a perfect space for your cookbook and recipe collection. Instead of having recipes stuffed in drawers and the books strewn around the house, you can have it all organized in one place. You may even be able to prop the cookbook open on one of the shelves, while prepping the ingredients on the counter below. Even though baker's racks, by their name, are expected to be in the kitchen, there are other rooms in the house that can benefit from having a baker's rack. Start with the bathroom. There is never enough storage in a bathroom. But if you were to add a baker's rack with dainty ivy metal accents, it would fit right in and offer plenty of space for linens, and other restroom necessities. Another place in the house for baker's racks is outside of the main house, in the garage. There are always things you would like to be able to find in the garage, and also have them out of the way. A sturdy wood or metal baker's rack can provide the shelving and cabinet space you need.
If you cook any home meals, you know that they don't go from the oven to the plate. Depending on what you've cooked, it usually needs to sit for a little while before you can serve it, unless you want to serve molten food to your family and deal with a number of burned mouths. A baker's rack in your kitchen can give you a traditional spot to let these things cool before you take them to the table. With all the kitchen appliances that are available today to help you make things better, faster and prettier, you now need a place to put those appliances. Many baker's racks have cabinets and shelves that can close and hide those appliances, when they are not in use. If you have ever made a large holiday meal in your kitchen, you know there is never enough room to prepare all the things you need to get that meal on the table on time. But what if you had just a little more room to lay things out as you put the final touches on those dinner dishes? A baker's rack can offer that extra space you desperately need.
