This is the RunAmuck Mud & Music Fests!
For the tiniest fraction of a second you realize running a race through forests, obstacles, walls, ropes, – and yes, muddy muck – is surely the most insanely off-the-wall lifetime event you ever signed up to do. And then you come to your senses… Muck Yeah!
There are a number of ways to celebrate life and enjoy your time while on this earth, but nothing might come quite as close to true celebration like the RunAmuck festival. Our races redefine insanity! When you take part in a RunAmuck Fest, you’ll challenge yourself in ways you didn’t think were possible.
The RunAmuck Run is a unique and incredible 3-5 mile run with terrain and outlandish obstacles that can include hills, river crossings, walls, obstacles and MUD PITS. For the 2011 season, we plan on having at least 2X as many obstacles at our events! This is the most fun you can have racing! We’re expanding throughout the country and you should be able to find an event near you!

Race individually, as a doubles team, or as a member of a 4-person team. Choose the Open category with no restrictions on attire and footwear, or the Costumed category, which requires your own zany costume or matching costumes (for doubles and teams).
Beyond the races, there is also music and other festivities that all comes together to make the RunAmuck festival a true extravaganza. Regardless of who you are and what you are capable of, you can be assured of having fun at this festival. Events have different categories and you can definitely find something that interests you.
